Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital city. Meet our guide and transfer to your hotel. We will spend the afternoon exploring the city, including the Sukhbaatar Square and the National History Museum of Mongolia. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner, where you'll have the opportunity to meet your fellow adventurers and learn more about the upcoming photographic journey.

In the morning, we will be taking a flight to the remote Dalanzadgad airport to begin our journey through the stunning Gobi region. Upon arrival, we'll visit the unique “Yolin Am” Canyon for a hike before settling in for the night at the foot of the beautiful Gurvan Saikhan mountains. Today is all about familiarizing ourselves with the environment and appreciating the local beauty. Sunset photo opportunities.

You'll continue your journey through the Gobi by driving to the stunning Khongoriin sand dunes. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to hike and explore the area, depending on the weather, our first sand dune photo session.

Ger Camp - B, L, D

Our group will wake up early for a sunrise photograph session of a local camel herder on the sand dunes. Once finished with the session, experience the thrill of traversing the golden dunes on the back of a camel. After lunch back at the camp, we’ll have some downtime to rest up. Later in the day, we’ll have the opportunity to climb the “Duut Mankhan” or Singing Sand Dunes, an unforgettable experience that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Gobi. (Depending on the weather of the day, another photo shoot with local herder available at sunset)

Ger Camp - B, L, D

This day of our journey will take us from the Khongoriin sand dunes to the Flaming Cliffs, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. On the way, we'll have the opportunity to hike and explore the Khavtsgait petroglyphs, ancient rock art that dates back millennia, and visit the nearby Bulgan village.

Today, we’ll be flying back to Ulaanbaatar in the morning and you will be transferred to your hotel at around lunch time. In the afternoon, there are possibilities to visit museums and do some personal shopping for cashmere and other souvenirs. In the evening we will immerse ourselves in the performing arts of Mongolia.

We’ll take a flight from Ulaanbaatar to Bayan-Ulgii, located in the picturesque Altai Mountains. The Altai region is known for its stunning natural beauty, including towering snow-capped peaks, alpine lakes, and pristine forests, as well as its rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Kazakh & Uriankhai people.

On Days 8 - 10 of your journey, we’ll have the opportunity to explore and photograph the stunning Mt. Tsambagarav region, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the Altai Mountains. We’ll also have the chance to spend time with local Kazakh and Uriankhai families, experiencing and capturing their unique culture and traditions firsthand. The highlight of this part of the trip will be the photo sessions with the eagle hunters, witnessing their incredible skills with their birds.

Today, we will be taking a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Once we’re back in Ulaanbaatar, one last chance to catch up on some shopping and befriending the city. In the evening, we’ll conclude our tour with a farewell dinner.
